LMUC: Things to know, Opportunities to serve and Prayers to lift

Things to know:

  • Grow Groups meet on Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm via Zoom and Thursdays @ 10:00 am at church.
  • If you know of Shut-ins that might want to receive communion, please let Pastor TJ know so that he can reach out and schedule with them.
  • Pastor TJ partners with people to create miracles in their lives through the power of love. If you would be interested in experiencing this, please let him know.

Opportunities to serve:

  • Do you love working with youth and children? If so, We need an MYF Coordinator who is willing to help coordinate youth group activities. Please speak with Pastor TJ for more information.
  • Do you love organizing and teaching youth and children? We need a Christian Education Coordinator who is willing to coordinate Christian Education activities at Lisbon.
  • We need a Worship Technology Coordinator who is willing to learn how to run the live stream and audio/video equipment during worship.

  • Bucky Clark – Thanksgiving for successful surgery and continued prayers for recovery

Grow Groups will not meet the next two weeks due to Pastor TJ leading retreats for clergy during this time.

  • Grow Groups will not meet on Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm via Zoom and Thursdays @ 10:00 am at church.
  • If you know of Shut-ins that might want to receive communion, please let Pastor TJ know so that he can reach out and schedule with them.

Grow Groups

Have you ever felt like you wanted a deeper relationship with God? If yes, then Grow Groups are for you. Grow Groups are small groups of committed Christians who are intentionally trying to develop a deeper relationship with God. The content is rooted in scripture but is not always scripture only. Members of these groups are committed to love each other, support each other and hold each other accountable in love. If this sounds interesting to you, please stop by to experience them for yourself. One meets in person at the church on Thursdays at 10:00am and the other meets via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
